Description
Fiuminale Corsican Duo – Two voices, one island
With over forty years of stage experience and more than 2,000 concerts in France and abroad, Maxime Merlandi and Jean-Philippe Guissani embody the soul of Corsican singing today.
Their duo, Fiuminale, is a continuation of a path marked in particular by the quartet Barbara Furtuna, a group that has contributed to make Corsican polyphony shine worldwide.
They have collaborated with L'Arpeggiate, Placido Domingo, Roberto Alagna, Constantinople or Bélem, and performed in more than thirty countries, on stages such as the Carnegie Hall of New York, the Konzerthaus of Berlin or the Salle Pleyel in Paris.
On stage, Fiuminale offers a powerful and intimate song: a moment of sincere sharing, nourished by a sensitive dialogue with the audience and a deeply human vibration.
