Ain's 16 golf courses

Between Lyon and Geneva, the Ain region boasts a rich natural heritage, diversified through 4 distinct micro-territories. The Ain offers 16 golf estates, each with its own particularity. The majority are located just outside Geneva in the Pays-de-Gex region, at the foot of the highest peaks in the Jura massif. Five others are in the Dombes region, a landscape of a thousand ponds on the outskirts of Lyon. Two are in Bresse, the kingdom of the world’s only AOC poultry, just outside Mâcon, and one in Haut-Bugey, near Oyonnax. So many different worlds, making the Ain an ideal host for golfers. And that’s no coincidence!

The Ain (also) makes others happy!

The Ain is one of the most attractive nature destinations! As the seasons go by, the region reveals itself from different angles, each offering an authentic immersion in the heart of vast open spaces.

The Ain is ideal for outdoor activities, but also for exploring its terroir, gourmet delights and typical restaurants where Bresse poultry rubs shoulders with PDO butter and cream. More than just a gourmet’s delight, the Ain is also a land of contemplation, with its preserved natural heritage and a destination rich in discovery and history…
