Golf de la Commanderie Epicurean golf!

Just a few minutes from Mâcon, in this beautiful wine-growing region, the Commanderie golf course offers a beautiful playing field and a wine bar that enthusiasts will appreciate.

Macon's oldest golf course

On a course originally designed by Michaël Fenn in 1964, Golf de la Commanderie rolls out its beautiful tree-lined greens 5 minutes from the heart of the Aumusse park near Mâcon. Its name refers to the ancient Templar commandery of Laumusse.

Today, calm and serenity reign on a course revised and improved in 2009. Here, you’ll enjoy a fine round of golf in an unspoilt natural setting, with lovely views over the mountains of southern Burgundy.

As an integral part of the course, you won’t be able to resist a break over a delicious meal in the restaurant with its lovely terrace overlooking the green, not forgetting the inevitable visit to the Cave du Golf.

A great atmosphere reigns on this golf course which, like good wines, has known how to age and improve!

This beautiful golf course is well maintained. The welcome is friendly and the course is magnificent and varied. Plus: a restaurant with a wine list to die for.

An epicurean golf course

Between the park’s centuries-old trees and beautiful vegetation, the course offers a whole range of possibilities. Power gives way to strategy, rigor and precision to negotiate the difficulties, particularly between holes 13 and 16 of the Amen Corner.

The small elevated greens defended by well-positioned bunkers must be negotiated with care… A golfing challenge worthy of this beautiful 3* golf course, which will delight players and novices alike.

But there’s nothing insurmountable about choosing between a glass of grand cru at lunchtime and the technical greens in the afternoon… It’s a tough choice, but one you’ll resolve easily if you choose to enjoy an evening tasting on the terrace to debrief the game!
