With two professional coaches, Golf du Clou can help you get started as a golfer, as well as perfecting your technique and strokes. It’s quite possible that you’ll lose a few balls on the driving range and hear a few “ploufs” before you’ve mastered your swing!

From hunting to golf

This golf course was created in 1984 by Maria Monnet, on the family hunting estate.

The golf course revolves around a beautiful stretch of water, perfectly in the spirit of the Dombes region. From modest beginnings as a simple country-style driving range with just a few holes, the course quickly became a success.

The reputation of the Clou golf course grew rapidly, and in 1987 it was upgraded to an 18-hole course to meet demand.

In order to offer a quality course, the golf course was designed with the advice of local pros, in particular Frédéric Regard.
