ViaRhôna is an 815 km adventure linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean, following the course of the Rhône. From the cool of the Alpine mountains to the sun-drenched plains of the Camargue, the route passes through vineyards, picturesque villages and historic sites. Five of France’s thirty rivers with the “Rivières Sauvages®” label are in the Ain, and 3 sites have been awarded the RAMSAR label for their international importance as wetlands.
Accueil Vélo signIn the Ain region, over 80 service providers have been awarded the Accueil Vélo label. This label guarantees a welcome adapted to cyclists: accommodation, restaurants, repair shops and refreshment points located less than 5 km from a cycle route. Flat tire? Need to refuel?
