The Claire Rivière Campsite is a 3 star campsite close to the banks of the River Ain, about 35km from Lyon and 5 minutes drive from Pérouges.
The Claire Rivière Campsite, being so close to the River Ain is very popular with anglers, swimmers and canoeists. The campsite has encampments available that range in size from 100m² to 150m² to 200m² that can cater for tents, camping cars and caravans as well as a range of mobile homes that can accommodate up to 6 guests. Additionally the Claire Rivière Campsite also has its own swimming pool and small shop that sells fresh bread, ice cream and drinks. Table tennis and boules are some of the activities that can be enjoyed on the campsite and it is possible to swim or go kayaking on the nearby River Ain. The campsite is situated close the fantastic walled medieval village of Pérouges and is not too far from the Balame Caves.
