A steady climb with low gradients!
The Col des Fosses (745 m) from Appregnin, a hamlet of Saint-Germain les Paroisses, is a lovely 6 km route in the Bugey Sud region, with a steady climb (% average 5). You'll pass close to Lac d'Ambléon, which has been awarded the "Espace Naturel Sensible" label and where swimming and parking on the banks are strictly forbidden, and to the "fruitière à Comté d'Ordonnaz", a charming little village in the Bugey region. The ascent offers magnificent panoramic views of the Alps and the Dent du Chat.
