To mark European Heritage Days, the town of Gex invites you to (re)discover its history and heritage from a unique perspective, with a particularly rich programme this year that is, above all, accessible to all!
‘Discover the archives’ workshop: Immerse yourself in local history by exploring the evolution of writing and learning how to decipher ancient texts.
Historical tour of the town hall surroundings: Follow Mr Pinto on a guided tour retracing the history and architecture of the town hall surroundings.
‘Unguided’ tours of old Gex: In partnership with the Les Libellules socio-cultural centre and the Tôt ou T'Arts Festival, the Compagnie du Bord de l'Eau offers original and offbeat ‘unguided’ tours to rediscover old Gex in a different way.
Open house at the sub-prefecture: For the second year running, and following the success of last year's event, the sub-prefecture of Gex will be opening its doors for several 45-minute guided tours.
