A land of a thousand ponds, the Dombes reveals landscapes and colors that change with the seasons. In this setting cohabits an incredibly rich fauna, starting with the birds. Discover Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne on a black-and-white tour. Travel back in time from the 1900s to the 60s to discover the town through monochrome views. Stroll along the promenade, the Place de la Bascule and the streets lined with shopkeepers: ironmongers, umbrella repairers, velocipede dealers, milliners, blacksmiths, butchers, bakers... You'll be transported back in time to the fairs that marked the lives of the people of Châtillonnais.
4pm: Self-guided tour of the Model Train Museum.
Between the real and the imaginary, a fabulous miniature show, unique in France, punctuated by multiple scenes that take you from the Alps to Provence via Lyon.
