On the agenda: Total immersion in the heart of a renowned copper factory and one of the largest silk weaving factories in Europe!
10 a.m.: Visit to the Cerdon Copperworks
With over 150 years of industrial history, the Cerdon Copperworks offers you an incredible insight into the secrets of the workshops. The visit is semi-autonomous: upon your arrival, a guide will welcome you for a historical introduction. During your exploration, you will witness demonstrations of fully restored historic machines. Note: 600 meters of walking is required to access the Copperworks.
Lunch at the restaurant “Le Panoramique” located on the heights of Cerdon.

3 p.m.: Visit to the Musée des Soieries Bonnet
One of the largest silk weaving factories in Europe!
During this experience, you will admire unique fabrics from the biggest fashion houses (Dior, Chanel...) and discover the craftsmanship of the workers while immersing yourself in the operations of a factory that employed over 1,200 people. Guided tour of the former weaving workshops and free visit of the permanent exhibitions.
5 p.m.: End of the excursion
