An exhibition of paintings combining calligraphy and abstraction.
Two artists, two visual languages, two quests for harmony, one exploration of the depths of the human soul.
This exhibition brings together two seemingly distant worlds: abstract Arabic calligraphy inspired by Sufism and abstract painting inspired by the Fibonacci sequence. Together, they explore the same territory: that of the human being in all its depth, complexity and quest for meaning.
On the one hand, the free forms of Sufi calligraphy detach themselves from the word to become breath, vibration, silence. The line, freed from language, becomes an inner movement. It evokes the dhikr, that meditative repetition that connects the soul to the infinite. Abstraction then becomes an act of love and presence.
On the other hand, paintings inspired by the Fibonacci sequence reveal the hidden order of nature. Spirals, proportions, rhythms: these mathematical structures convey a universal harmony. They remind us that behind the visible lies a living intelligence, similar to breathing or the beating of the heart.
Two approaches, two paths: one spiritual, the other rational. Yet both converge in the same quest: to understand what lies beyond the gaze, to question our connection to the world and to what connects us to one another.
