This was without counting on the intense ferment and eternal dissatisfaction of its artists, who very quickly ejected the group from the limits of the traditionally correct. Samplers, harmonisers, virtualisers, didgeridoo, tenor violin and percussion rub shoulders with uilleann pipes, cistre and bodhran. The musicians revisit the repertoire, injecting a highly personal touch and unashamedly embracing their taste for risk and overkill. Two Irish tap dancers free themselves from the codes...
