Sometimes captivating, sometimes amusing or even disturbing, this group is bursting with freshness and optimism.
Jet Whistle:
Sometimes captivating, sometimes amusing, sometimes disturbing, this group is bursting with freshness and optimism. The quintet is led by Fanny Martin on flute, vocals and composition, supported by the four musketeers who arrange and dynamite the whole thing: Jules Regard on trombone and vocals, Adlane Aliouche on keyboards, Théo Fardèle on bass and Sacha Souêtre on drums. Improvisation is at the heart of their playful style, offering total freedom of expression, amplified by sonic explorations using effects pedals and obscure keyboards. They dare, question and experiment. Jet Whistle takes us on a wild ride, and it's a real shake-up.
Sometimes we dance, sometimes we're impressed, sometimes we're scared...
But in the end, we want more!

Line-up:
- Keyboards: Matthieu Llorda
- Saxophone: Arthur Donnot
- Electric bass: Fabien Iannone
- Drums: Maxence Sibille

Kuma:
KUMA clearly reflects the two influences that have shaped their music: the Cully Jazz Festival residency and the Blakat Jam Sessions at Le Chat Noir in Carouge. In the former, audiences flocked to hear their intense and joyful jazz-funk experiments. In the latter, the collective, joined by a brass section, transformed into a luxury cover band, dedicating each evening to a particular soul/funk artist. In both cases, the virtuosity of these exceptional musicians never fails to impress the listener, always remaining at the service of groove and the pleasure of sharing.
Matthieu Llodra (keyboards) and Arthur Donnot (saxophone) apply the same high standards to writing KUMA's music. Maxence Sibille's drums and Fabien Iannone's bass, in all their simplicity, offer a range of sounds and grooves that blur the lines between playing and programming, between acoustic and electronic. The themes become loops, in a jazz style that has absorbed the culture of sampling. They belong to a generation that is naturally reinventing a kind of smooth jazz for the 21st century.
