Halfway up the mountain, La Sapinière is intriguingly "hidden". Access to this 22m² cabin is via a single-storey "footbridge" leading to a 13m² terrace with panoramic views over the River Ain and Ile Chambod.

Extra bed possible in living room. On arrival you are given a kit of 'basic' products. 'Breakfast basket' can be delivered every morning, on request. Best bits: terrace, view (of course) and light filled rooms (all have windows). |La Sapinière is part of a 'nature' site with total of 7 cabins or lodges which blend perfectly into this forest of box trees in the heights above Serrières-sur-Ain, overhanging the river Ain. Each cabin has its own identity and is built on stilts 2 metres above...
