L’Ancienne Auberge is a replica of the original Blanc family coaching inn from the beginning of the last century. Here you will find a menu based on traditional recipes made using regional products, that have been prepared and served by 3 generations of Georges Blanc's family.
Checkered tablecloths, authentic floor tiles and photos of the family through the generations. Here, everything is authentic, the traditional Bresse chicken à la crème prepared just like Blanc's mother, pan-fried Dombes-style frog’s legs, pike quenelles (dumplings) and chicken liver terrines. There are also cookery classes available, as well as wine tastings and tours of the wine cellar.
