This 19th-century gîte, adjoining the owner's home, offers a wealth of things to discover. Located in the heart of the Bugey, a region rich in a variety of green landscapes and generous with its nature, gastronomy and vineyards.

L'écureuil du Bugey, located at the back of this 19th century house, which was formerly a winegrower's, with no overlooked neighbours and a large enclosed garden, opens its doors onto a living room, combining wood and stone, with its lounge with a pull-out sofa bed for one or two people, its very well-equipped open-plan kitchen and its dining area. Upstairs is a lovely bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and its own shower room. Bed linen and towels included. Separate WC on the ground floor. A cleaning service is available for a supplement of €50. Electric heating is included in the rental price.

The owners, who are discreet but always available, will be delighted to show you around their beekeeping (visit the apiary with the owner-beekeeper) and the wood-fired oven where you can bake galettes, bread, gratins, etc. The La Gevrinoise brewery, just a stone's throw from the gîte, will also be delighted to show you around.
