Dominated by callune, mullein and birch, with peat bogs and ponds. A refuge for highly specific flora and fauna: amphibians, great crested newts and tree frogs. A signposted discovery trail leads around it.

After the last ice age, the water remained in a kind of basin, allowing the formation of this 17-hectare environment. The Oignons peat moor in Boz is similar to an acidic peat bog, an original environment in the region and at this altitude of 200 meters. Dominated by callune, mullein and birch, it comprises a peat bog and pools. This environment is a refuge for a highly specific fauna and flora: amphibians are right at home here, and some species are protected, such as the great crested newt...
