Spen & Lulla is an ode to the marginalized. It's the story of two strange birds, who could be described as a bit of an anarchist, even if they wouldn't like it at all. The story of two
friends, two lovers, full of modesty and madness. The narrative is orchestrated by a narrator who, despite his Candide-like appearance, soon proves to have a few Mussolini tendencies. Our two anti-heroes then decide to flee, to change their story...
The audience will be invited to join in this uprising against diktats and conventions. They will follow our two protagonists in their quest for freedom, against the grain of a certain vision of happiness.
