Lecture by Oxana Muromtseva, historian and lecturer at Moscow University. Lecture in Russian translated into French

Long a secret, the porcelain recipe was revealed throughout Europe in the 18th century, ten centuries after China. Following the Meissen factory in Saxony, factories were set up in France, the most famous of which was at the Château de Vincennes and later at Sèvres.
