The National Vincent Vittoz challenge brings together the best French skiers around a Nordic skiing event over a weekend.

The Valromey Retord Sports Club organizes the Challenge Vittoz, a national roller ski event, included in the calendar of the French Ski Federation. The challenge, which bears the name of the 2005 world pursuit champion, returns to Plans d'Hotonnes to bring together the elite of French cross-country skiing from the U15 to senior categories. The challenge has been an essential summer stage since 2015, which will welcome more than 500 participants on and near the Plans d'Hotonnes biathlon stadium.
