- Where can I buy my Pass'Découvertes de l'Ain?
Sales are exclusively on the www.ain-tourisme.com website, with integrated secure online payment (credit card payment only).
There are no sales outlets at tourist offices or visitor sites. - What is the validity of the 3-site or 3-site + Bird Park pass?
Once used for the first time, the pass is activated for the entire 2025 season (valid until November 12, 2025) and allows you to choose between 3 or 4 sites to visit during this period, depending on the package you choose.
- Can I visit a site more than once?
Each site is freely accessible only once with the Pass.
- Are there any special rates?
- There are no reduced rates for the disabled, seniors, groups or associations.
- There are no reduced rates for children.

- Which sites require a reservation?
- Génissiat central dam: online booking required.
- Dinoplagne: online booking recommended.
- Maison d’Izieu: booking strongly recommended to visit the house (guided tour only) online or by phone 04 79 87 21 05.
- Observatoire de la Lèbe: booking required by telephone on 04 79 87 67 31 (please arrive 30 minutes before the session).
- Ambronay Benedictine Abbey: guided tours and workshops must be booked by telephone on 04 74 38 74 04 or by e-mail at location@ambronay.org.
- Do I need to make a reservation for the Grottes du Cerdon - Parc de loisirs préhistoriques and the Parc des Oiseaux?
With the Pass’Découvertes de l’Ain, I can visit the Grottes du Cerdon and the Parc des Oiseaux on my own. No need to book in advance.
- If I don't use it in 2025, will I be able to use the Pass'Découvertes in 2026?
- The Pass’Découvertes de l’Ain 2025 is valid until November 12, 2025.
- It will no longer be valid in 2026.
- Are the sites open all year round?
- Most of our partner sites close during the winter period, which is why the Pass’Découvertes can be used until November 12, 2025.
- Remember to check the opening times of the sites you wish to visit in our online catalog and on each establishment’s website.
- Is the Pass'Découvertes personal?
- Each pass is valid for 1 person; it is nominative and personal.
- At the time of purchase, you will be asked to provide the personal information required to identify the customer.
- Can I give a Pass'Découvertes to someone?
Yes, if you’re offering it, be sure to enter the person’s name.
- Why give out my cell phone number?
When purchasing online, give your cell phone number to receive your Pass by SMS in addition to the welcome email.
This SMS contains 2 links: a link to access the Pass’Découvertes de l’Ain mobile application and a link to retrieve your personal QR Code.
- Once my online payment has been validated, what will I receive?
You will receive 2 emails:
An e-mail summarizing your purchase, sent from no-reply@open-system.fr . A welcome e-mail with your Pass’Découvertes (PDF document), sent from aintourisme@adesrv.com.
If you’ve given us your cell phone number, you’ll also receive an SMS. This SMS contains 2 links: a link to access the Pass’Découvertes de l’Ain mobile application, and a link to retrieve your personal QR Code.
- I haven't received my Pass'Découvertes by e-mail. What should I do?
- If you’ve given us your cell phone number, you’ll have received an SMS containing a link to access your Pass’Découvertes directly. This SMS comes in addition to the welcome e-mail, and therefore avoids the problem of a non-received e-mail. Regarding the e-mail: remember to check your spam folder.
- If you don’t find anything, you may have mistyped your e-mail address.
- There are 2 ways of receiving your Pass by e-mail: write to us at passdecouvertes@aintourisme.com or call us on 04 74 32 31 30, Monday to Thursday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, and Friday, 9am to 12pm.
- If the problem occurs at the weekend or on a public holiday, you can still visit our partner sites. Ticketing managers at partner sites can find you in the customer database. Tell them your name, show them your ID card, and that’s it!
- I've lost my pass or deleted it by mistake. How can I get it back?
Send an e-mail to passdecouvertes@aintourisme.com or call 04 74 32 31 30, Monday to Thursday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, and Friday, 9am to 12pm. We’ll send it back to you.
If the problem occurs at the weekend or on a public holiday, you can still visit our partner sites. If you give your name and present your ID card at the site reception desk, the ticketing managers can find you in the customer database and you can benefit from the advantages of your pass.
