Cycling events in Ain, cyclo & VTT

Cycling, a mixture of effort and obsession. In the Ain region, there are those who pedal for pleasure, and those who like to suffer for passion. Climbing, accelerating, keeping up the pace. The Forestière, the Aindinoise, the Tour de l’Ain: three ways to prove that you exist as a dancer.

The Ain, a playground for ambitious sportsmen and women

Here, the roads wind, the trails bite, and every climb promises a silent duel between you and your pride. Spectator or runner, the finish line remains the same: the one that separates those who try from those who watch.

Major cycling events

The Ain vibrates to the rhythm of the pedals! Every year, the Tour de l’Ain attracts the best riders to the department’s roads. The Tour du Valromey, reserved for young hopefuls, is a launching pad to the top level. For those looking for a challenge, the Aindinoise offers a sporting immersion in the heart of the Jura mountains. The Tour de France makes no mistake: it regularly passes through the Ain, attracted by the beauty of the passes and the technical nature of the courses. A region where cycling is more than just a sport: it’s a veritable culture.
