You can see the Dorche waterfall upstream from a viewing platform. However, it is strictly forbidden to go down to the foot of the waterfall.

It takes about 45 minutes to walk to the waterfall viewpoint from the start of the ‘Au fil de la Dorche sauvage’ trail at the village hall in Chanay. Please note that the last 10 minutes are on a path that can be very slippery in wet weather. Access on foot is very dangerous as it is over unstable ground, with frequent rock falls, and on steep slopes at the edge of a cliff. Furthermore, this is private property.
