10am: guided tour of the Dombes ponds
Immerse yourself in the history of the Dombes ponds, France's leading freshwater fish-farming region - discover the secrets of pond farming and their exceptional flora and fauna. The walk is punctuated by stops at the edge of the ponds to admire the beauty of the landscape and observe the birds (approx. 42 km with your coach, departing from Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne).

11:30 am: Tasting of Dombes products
Enjoy carp, the emblematic fish of the Dombes region, in rillettes. Smoked or flavored with lemon, tomato or chili pepper, served on toast, this Dombes specialty will delight your taste buds. Accompanied by a glass of Bugey white wine or local fruit juice, you're guaranteed a convivial, gourmet tasting experience.

3:15pm: Leatherwork and carp skins
Artistic leatherworker Amarande will explain how to enhance and work Dombes carp skins to create carp leather objects. She will offer you a demonstration of how an object is made.
