Welcome to the ARTpiness holiday cottage! Nestled in Menthières, a small family resort in the Haut-Jura, you can recharge your batteries in a comfortable cottage, enjoy the fresh air, escape along the trails and walk through the forest to reach the peaks.
In winter, you are only 20 metres from the ski area. Cross the street and you have direct access to the magic carpet, ski lifts and slopes. With skis, sledges or snowshoes on your feet, you're ready for adventure!
Your holiday rental has been completely renovated to offer you a warm and functional stay. You will appreciate its spacious bedrooms, equipped with private bathrooms, and its living area, ideal for sharing a good meal.
Located on the first floor of a large building where the owners live, you will enter a large flat with an equipped kitchen opening onto the dining area and discover the lounge area with a view of the countryside. A corridor leads to the sleeping area and its four themed bedrooms. The Ouaga and Lisbon rooms sleep 3 people and have 2 double beds with mattress toppers and a single bed; the Lyon room has 4 single beds; the Bali family room is a duplex with 2 double beds with mattress toppers downstairs and 3 single beds upstairs. Each room has its own bathroom for maximum comfort.
In the village, you will find the Bar-restaurant de la Gentiane, ski hire, a goat farm and a tree-top adventure park.
In summer, hiking trails allow you to explore the peaks of the Jura and perhaps even tackle the GTJ.
Nearby, you will find a cheese dairy and soap factory in Chézery-Forens.
Cross-country skiing is available on the Retord plateau, in Giron or La Vattay.
For swimming, discover Lake Genin.
