Nestled in the hamlet of Indrieux, in the commune of Arandas, this cottage for 6 people welcomes you to a natural and unspoiled setting. Adjoining a second cottage of the same capacity, this place will charm anyone seeking authenticity. From the moment you enter, the large living room reveals its character with an imposing antique wine press that tells the story of the place. Exposed stone walls, warm wood, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen create a convivial atmosphere. A little nod to the owners' cows. Did you spot them? Emily produces local ramekins, a reminder of the house's rural and vibrant roots. The cottage is spread over two levels, with a few stairs that punctuate the exploration of the spaces… but each step leads to a new cozy corner. This vertical layout is part of the charm of old houses: it's something you earn. Three bedrooms, each with a single bed and an en-suite shower room. Access is possible either through the living room overlooking the courtyard or via a bedroom on the first floor, offering flexibility. A small garden area accessible from the first floor allows you to enjoy the surrounding tranquility. Nearby, there's no shortage of activities: scenic hikes and nature walks on the Plateau d'Hauteville, and cycling on the rolling country roads of the Bugey region. For swimming, head to Lac de Virieu-le-Grand. And why not discover the impressive Cerveyrieu Waterfall? Looking for a thrill? The Via Ferrata in Hostiaz offers a vertical experience. Now, it's time to relax, with a games room shared by both gîtes, complete with a shower and sauna (available upon request to the owner). Courtyard side: large living room with a wine press and a sofa bed; shower room/WC. First floor: a hallway leading to the three bedrooms (each with two single beds). A small private garden. Communal parking behind the house. Travel light: everything is included. Cleaning is optional. Shared facilities: pétanque court, games room (billiards, table tennis), shower and toilet with sauna (available upon request from the owners).
