Located in the heart of the Domaine du Gouverneur in Monthieux, La Table du Gouverneur is a bistronomic restaurant where cuisine, setting and the art of hospitality come together with elegance. At the helm of the restaurant, Chef Jean-Marie Le Rest brings the full richness of his career and culinary sensitivity. After working for the French Prime Minister’s office, then in French embassies in Australia and Rome, he joined the world of the Bocuse chefs, notably at Brasserie Marguerite, before settling at the Domaine du Gouverneur in 2024. His cuisine reflects both this openness to the world and a deep connection to the local terroir. Between the Dombes, Bresse and Beaujolais regions, La Table du Gouverneur celebrates seasonal, modern and generous gastronomy, built around fresh, certified and carefully selected products. Each dish seeks the perfect balance between indulgence, precision and sincerity.
