Located on the first floor of a fully renovated house, this cottage for four people has been designed to offer you a truly relaxing stay. Access is via a quiet entrance at the rear, leading to a small, sheltered, south-facing terrace—perfect for starting your day off right, away from prying eyes. Inside, you'll discover a modern and soothing atmosphere: wooden floors, natural hues, touches of seafoam green… a contemporary décor that appeals to couples on a getaway as well as families or groups of friends on a weekend break. The living area revolves around a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living room with a sofa bed. A comfortable bedroom, a convenient shower room, and a separate toilet complete this functional haven. As for activities, it's hard to get bored! Whether you prefer a more relaxed pace or a more active lifestyle, the region is brimming with possibilities. From the gîte, lace up your sneakers and set off to explore a variety of trails, accessible to all, immersing yourself in unspoiled nature, rich in flora and fauna. On sunny days, treat yourself to a refreshing break by visiting the Corveissiat cave and valley, or venture further afield to the impressive Cerdon Caves, a truly fascinating site. For sports enthusiasts, hop on your bikes! Choose between a leisurely bike ride or mountain biking excursions. Or perhaps a short motorcycle trip on scenic roads? The gîte is perfectly equipped to accommodate cyclists and can house up to four motorcycles. Two private parking spaces are also available. And for food lovers? The region is also an invitation to explore. Indulge in local specialties such as Bresse chicken in cream sauce, quenelles with Nantua sauce, frogs' legs, or the famous Comté cheese. For an authentic experience, visit the Fruitières (Villereversure, Aromas, Arinthod, etc.) and discover the secrets of making this iconic cheese. For pasta lovers: the owner is an expert! She makes it herself. Don't hesitate to ask for a demonstration if you happen to be there on a day when she's making it; otherwise, you can find her at the Corveissiat market every Friday afternoon with about ten other food vendors, or at the large market in Bourg-en-Bresse every Saturday morning. Your accommodation: access to the gîte is via a metal staircase. It features a bright living area with a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the dining area and lounge (with a sofa bed for two), a bedroom with two single beds (80x200 cm) that can be joined together, a shower room, and a separate toilet. The gîte also has a private covered terrace. Two private parking spaces, secure garage for up to 4 motorcycles and bicycles. Travel light: beds made upon arrival, towels and linens provided. Utilities included. Heating is provided by a pellet stove. Cleaning is optional.
