Eurovelo 17: the ViaRhôna is a cycle path that links Lake Leman with the Mediterranean Sea. This wonderful trail passes for 50 km along the banks of the River Rhône in Southern Bugey and can be cycled, walked or rollerbladed and is suitable for all ages.
The pleasure of cycling without difficulty in complete safety.

Pedal between river and mountain, discover at your own pace the exceptional territories drawn by the Rhône and their emblematic sites.

As close as possible to the river, it is in a protected and secure environment that you will be able to discover the extraordinary wealth of landscapes and natural environments of this part of the French Haut-Rhône.
Lively and fascinating, nature is expressed through remarkable flora and fauna, in preserved areas, far from large urban centers.

By bike, on foot or on rollerblades, the river will be your common thread, for serene walks accessible to the whole family.

A bridge for cyclists and pedestrians has been built in the South of Virignin avoiding the traffic of the tunnels in La Balme.
