Who we are

Aintourisme is the Agence de Développement Touristique (ADT) de l’Ain, a departmental structure dedicated to the promotion and development of tourism in the département. It plays a key role in supporting local players, promoting the region’s tourist assets, and fostering a tourism-related economic and cultural dynamic.

Aintourisme acts as a strategic partner for local authorities, professionals and visitors, offering marketing, tourism engineering and project support.

Promoting and developing tourism in the Ain department


Our missions

Since 1977, as the pillar and driving force behind the department’s tourism ambitions, Aintourisme has relied on its recognized expertise to play a key role in the development of tourism in the Ain and to carry out its essential missions.

  • Accompaniment: to encourage the establishment of new tourism activities and companies, to support and facilitate the development of tourism companies established in the Ain, and to support and lead technical groups,
  • Development: initiate projects and initiatives, develop, structure and promote the Ain’s tourism offering, raise the profile and appeal of tourism,
  • Observatory: ensure observation and knowledge of the offer, clientele and markets.
  • Collaboration: structure and federate tourism players into competitive networks, in the form of sectors of excellence, develop synergies and collaborate with other tourism development partners, pool tools and human resources,
  • Promotion: contribute to the development, promotion and marketing of tourism products in collaboration with companies and regions, promote the offer and stimulate the destination.

Our actions are in line with the strategic framework defined by the White Paper on Tourism in the Ain.

Our governance

Aintourisme is managed by a Board of Directors made up of 24 members, divided into three colleges:

  • College 1: elected representatives
  • College 2: socio-professionals
  • College 3: tourism operators
