An industry and strategy structured around the Saveurs de l’Ain® brand

The strategy deployed as part of the White Paper on Tourism 2023-2028 aims to position the Ain as one of France’s top gastronomic destinations by working along 3 axes:

    • Promoting and federating players around the Saveurs de l’Ain brand to foster synergies and partnerships, increase the appropriation and distribution of Ain’s signature products, and pool resources. These actions can take various forms, such as professional meetings or workshops throughout the year, or through a Members’ Week.
    • Development and structuring of the product discoveryoffer, in particular by continuing to diversify the membership base, cross-fertilization with other sectors (agritourism, golf, etc.) and the deployment of a network of “Tables Remarquables”, a veritable showcase for Ain gastronomy.
    • Promotion and communication to increase brand visibility and product awareness, and encourage consumption by local residents, tourists and tourism businesses.
To this end, a number of targeted actions are deployed:

      • Strong presence at major events such as Lyon Street Food, Saveurs de l’Ain markets (Pérouges, Cerdon), gastronomy fairs (Bourg en Bresse, Valence), Salon de l’agriculture, SIRHA, etc.
      • Development of promotional content for digital media and social networks
      • Reception and press relations for specialized media
      • A strong presence within the Vallée de la Gastronomie, supported in particular by the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region.
