Description
The Geneva festival La Bâtie returns to the Château de Voltaire with a special concert to mark its 50th edition!
It’s impossible to predict where the Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp will pop up next.
True to its penchant for breaking boundaries, the collective is taking La Bâtie on a nomadic musical adventure that will span more than seven venues across Greater Geneva. An invitation to follow in the footsteps of an extraordinary orchestra, just as at home in concert halls as it is in public spaces.
For nearly twenty years, this Geneva-based ensemble has been building a one-of-a-kind body of work where rhythmic fervor, sonic experimentation, and a spirit of freedom converge. Their latest album, *Ventre Unique*, continues this exploration on a new scale: voices multiply, textures intertwine, and the songs embrace the upheavals of the present without ever succumbing to discouragement.
Carried by an impressive array of brass, strings, percussion, marimbas, and guitars, more than fifteen musicians craft music that is generous, fluid, and intensely alive.
So set out on this sonic journey up close with the artists, somewhere between a collective celebration and a joyful escape off the beaten path.
