Description
Les Pieds dans le Local®, the producer’s edition! That’s right, our producers in southern Bugey are truly talented, and we invite you to discover “La Ferme du Marais”, the livestock farm run by Fanny, Anthony and Christelle.
For the fifth year running, the Bugey Sud Grand Colombier Tourist Office is offering you the chance to visit local farms during the October school holidays, from Tuesday 20 to Saturday 31 October.
Whether with family or friends, set off to discover an exceptional region alongside the ‘AIN’croyables’ producers and farmers of Bugey-Sud, and start imagining your next feasts featuring their produce – grown with passion whilst respecting the land, people and animals!
Farming, livestock rearing and animal welfare
Christelle, Fanny and Anthony have been farming traditionally for 20 years in the village of Ceyzérieu, on the edge of the Lavours Marshes Nature Reserve. They rear pigs, Highland cattle and lambs outdoors, with a deep commitment to respecting nature and the animals. The animals are fed on grass, hay and cereals produced on the farm.
The top-quality meat and homemade charcuterie are prepared in the farm’s own processing facility, without nitrites or additives.
Tasting session at the end of the tour.
Free tour (booking essential).
An event organised in partnership with Les Epicuriennes de Belley.
