Description
Discover this little-known master of 9th art at the Château de Voltaire!
The exhibition explores the work of Sergio Toppi, an illustrator and comic book artist born in Italy in 1932. Internationally renowned, Toppi is one of those great Italian artists who, like Hugo Pratt, Guido Crepax and Dino Battaglia, gave comics and illustration many of their letters of nobility. He developed a deeply original and innovative style, inspired by the masters of 19th-century engraving.
Exhibition presented by the Centre des monuments nationaux, in partnership with Les Arts Frontières and Contrebande dessinée.
