  • Created 30 years ago, the Railwayworker museum proposes to discover the past of Ambérieu en Bugey heritage.

  • With the help of videos, functional life-size models, a switching station, a canteen, a dormitory together with an infirmary, it retraces the life of the “railway people.” We can also admire the uniforms and a very handsome collection of caps…These are all pages from the history of the town, reminding us that the railroad appeared in Ambérieu in 1856 and in its wake a change in the landscape and in village life. These installations are there to awaken buried memories through the work...
