Description
From May 9 to September 6, 2026, Bourg-en-Bresse undergoes an ephemeral metamorphosis. With La ZOA, the city becomes an open-air art gallery for a summer, accessible to everyone, everywhere, at any time.
After a first edition in 2024 that left its mark, La ZOA - Biennale de la ville autrement - returns with the same ambition: to transform public space into an artistic, lively, popular and participative playground. An invitation to take a fresh look at the city... and its transformations.
In the streets, squares or at the corner of a monument, some 15 works of art take over the urban space. Colors, poetry... each installation creates surprise and arouses emotion. Here, art steps out of traditional venues to reach out to everyone.
